The Refuge and Expansion by AM Radio

Machinima is a method of 3D CGI (Computer Graphic Imagery) Film Making wich uses a game engine to render scenes rather than a CGI software rendering package such as Mental Ray or Render Man.

Software such as FRAPS may be used to capture scenes which may then be edited using Digital Editing software such as iMovie or Final Cut Pro.

Second Life with its emphasis on user created content provides a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) variation for this production workflow with the distinct difference that the content created may be explored in-world by visitors to the region.immers_01
